Oven Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Selam everybody.... Merhaba from Turkey.

We’re definitely going to be adding these oven baked honey garlic Chicken Wings to our weekend snack menu.

Yes, nothing can comfort us and makes us sit together in front of tv but this finger licking sticky honey garlic chicken wings.

Wings is my best favorite part and I always keep one or two kilos in my freezer. I make a lot of recipe using this chicken wing, and today I'm going to share crispy oven baked with (asian style) honey garlic sauce.

If you are chicken wing lover as well, make sure you try this honey garlic sauce. Do not hesitate to make more than one kilo wings and make sure everybody get their chicken wings enough (^,^)

Serve 3~4
Ingredients:
  • 2 kg chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • splash of oil or oil spray
  • 5~6 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup honey
  •  ½ cup (120 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • sesame seed and chopped scallion for serving

How to make:

  1. Rinse chicken wings and pat dry. Discard tip and cut each wing at the joint into 2 pieces. Spray (toss) chicken wings with oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Arrange as a single layer on rack over baking tray (line your baking tray with aluminum foil for easy cleaning), and bake at 200°C pre heated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, mix all sauce ingredients and cook over medium heat until boiling and slightly thickened.
  4. Lower the oven temperature to 180°C. Take the wings and toss with honey garlic sauce. Arrange back the wings on the rack then bake for another 15 minutes.

Serve it with the rest of sauce and sprinkle of sesame seed / sliced scallion. I also dip my wings in hot chili sauce as my preference.
