Since first time İ made it, İ fall in love and get addicted to piri piri sauce. And now piri piri sauce become staple in my fridge. You should try my "make in advance piri piri sauce" and you will get the best and delicious dinner / lunch ready within an hour.
And today İ make chicken piri piri kebab serve with piri piri grilled corn. İf you are fan of grilled chicken, give a try this piri piri skewer.
And the corn..... Well... İ lloovveee it! in fact the grilled piri piri corn will be my repeatable meal for me and family.
İngredients and how to make Chicken piri piri skewer:
- 500 g boneless chicken thigh or breast, cut into chunk
- pinch of salt and black pepper
- 4 to 5 Tbsp piri piri sauce and more for basting
- some lemon slice for serving
- some skewer
Keep in refrigerator at least 3 hours or over night.
Arrange the chicken on to skewer.
Grilled over char coal until done. Basting with the remaining piri piri sauce during grilling.
Or heat your grilling pan, basting with margarine or cooking oil. Grill the chicken skewer until done, basting with remaining piri piri sauce during grilling. Roast also few slices of lemon for serving later.
Serve with some salad and piri piri grilled corn.
Grilled Corn with piri piri sauce:
- 5 to 7 corn on the cob
- ½ cup piri piri sauce and more for basting
- 2 to 3 tbsp butter
- pinch of salt and sugar to taste
İn wide pan heat butter, mix in piri piri sauce, salt and sugar. Add in enough water, place the corn in single layer on the pan. İ didn't measure the water but it enough to cook the corn for about 7 to 10 mnts. The water should not to cover all the corn. Turn the corn once in a while until the water reduce. You should have left over sauce, do not discard, use for basting the corn during grilling.
Grill the corn over char coal or grilling pan and brush generously with the remaining sauce.

Kali ini saya akan bagi resep ayam bakar piri piri dengan versi kebab. Piri piri kebab ini saya sajikan bersama jagung bakar dengan bumbu piri piri juga. Kalau kamu penyuka jagung bakar, kamu kudu coba jagung bakar bumbu piri piri ini deh.
Rasanya pedas manis dan sedikit asam..cocok buat lidah Indonesia kita yang suka pedas ya. Ayam bakar nya juga gak kalah lezat lho.
Kalau kamu follower page saya ini pasti kamu sudah ngerti saus piri piri yang saya posting sebelumnya. Sukkaaaa banget saus piri piri ini, makanya begitu stok habis saya segera bikin. Nggak cuman saya, suami dan anak juga demen banget, tentunya dengan versi yang gak terlalu pedas ya 😊
Tapi kalau mau versi pedas bisa aja ditambah jumlah cabe pedasnya. Coba klik link disini buat bikin saus piri piri yang lezat.
- 500 g daging ayam tanpa tulang bisa bagian dada atau paha, potong kotak
- garam dan merica bubuk secukupnya
- 4 sampai 5 sdm piri piri sauce plus untuk dibalurkan pada ayam ketika memanggang
- beberap tusuk sate
Tusukan ke tusukan sate seperti membuat sate. Bakar dengan arang atau diatas wajan panggang hingga matang sambil diolesi dengan sisa bumbu.
Sajikan dengan jagung bakar bumbu piri piri dibawah ini.
Jagung bakar saus piri piri:
- 5 sampai 7 jagung muda
- ½ cup saus piri piri
- 2 hingga 3 sdm mentega atau bisa margarin
- garam dan gula sesuai selera
Panaskan mentega/ margarin dalam wajan yang lebar, masukkan saus piri piri, garam dan gula. Masukkan jagung lalu tambahkan air secukupnya saja-jangan terlalu banyak, cukup untuk memasak jagung sekitar sampai 10 menit saja.
Masak sekitar 10 mnt dan air menyusut, jangan dibuang sisa bumbu di wajan, gunakan untuk mengolesi jagung selama dibakar.
Bakar jagung diatas arang atau wajan panggang sambil diolesi saus piri piri.
