Not so hot summer this June. And İ love it. Even İ am tropical person, summer in Turkey could be pretty much dry and boring. İ live in Marmara region and rain comes like every 2 or 3 days, so refreshing.
Just like this weekend, cloudy so heavy cloudy. 

And to cheer up our gray week end İ was thinking to make something wonderful chocolaty sweet thing. something fast and easy to make yet everybody would love to enjoy it.
Yep.. brownie. Also İ didn't bake it for quite sometime after I got my toothache few months ago.


So here you go...

Yield: one 9" x 13" pan (  use 25 x 25 x 5 cm )
İngredients:
  • 4 large eggs
  • 110 g Double-Dutch Dark Cocoa or Dutch-Process Cocoa
  • 1 tsp salt ( İ use  ½ tsp only)
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 1 tsp espresso powder ( İ use 2 tsp nescafe espresso powder)
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 230 gr (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 445 gr sugar
  • 180 gr AP flour
  • 340 gr choco chip


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350°F). Lightly grease a 9" x 13" pan. İ line my 25 cm square with baking paper.
  2. Melt butter and sugar over medium low heat, stir until mostly sugar dissolved and it'll become shiny looking mixture, this step will give shiny top crust on the brownies.
  3. İn mixing bowl beat 4 eggs in medium speed with cocoa, salt, baking powder and espresso powder until smooth about 1 or 2 minutes.
  4. Add in the hot butter/sugar mixture to the egg-cocoa mixture, stirring until smooth.
  5. Add the flour and chips, stirring until smooth. Again, adding the chips helps produce a shiny top crust.
  6. Transfer the batter into prepared pan. Bake for about 30 minute or until skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, or with just a few moist crumbs clinging to it. The brownies should feel set on the edges, and the center should look very moist, but not uncooked. Remove them from the oven and cool on a rack before cutting and serving.

Assalamu'alaykum..... Merhaba dari Turki.

Apa kabar semua. Lama nih gak baking brownies... Beberapa bulan lalu, gigi sakit abis makan yang manis. Padahal sebelumnya gak pernah begitu... sepertinya gigi saya udah mulai sensitif ini... kudu lebih hati-hati...faktor usia sudah gak bisa dipungkiri lagi...hehehehe... 😁

Tapi weekend ini buat tombo kangen pengen yang legit-legit... akhirnya baking deh brownies kesukaan keluarga... saya mah makannya sepotong aja cukup. Anak sama bapaknya aja yang seneng banget abisinnya. 😍

Resepnya saya sadur dari king arthur flour disini.
Yuk moms bikin juga buat kudapan keluarga yang cepat, praktis dan lezat.

Untuk loyang 23 x 32 cm (saya pakai loyang 25x25cm)

Bahan:
🔹 4 telur
🔹 106 g Dutch-Process bubuk kakao (pekat)
🔹 1 sdt garam
🔹 1 sdt BP
🔹 1sdt espresso powder
🔹 1 sdm vanila extract/ essence
🔹 227 g mentega
🔹 447 g gula pasir
🔹 177vg terigu serba guna / protein sedang
🔹 340 g chocolate chips

Cara membuat:
⏩ Siapkan loyang ukuran 23 x 32 cm atau 25 x 25 cm alasi baking paper atau olesi margarin. Panaskan oven suhu 170-180°C.
 Panaskan mentega bersama gula menggunakan api kecil hingga leleh, aduk hingga gula larut dan nampak mengkilap, tp jangan sampai mendidih. Proses ini akan membuat permukaan brownies shiny
 Sementara itu, mixer kecepatan rendah; telur, bubuk kakao,garam, vanila, expresso powder hingga halus kurleb 1 mnt. Lalu perlahan campurkan mentega panas sambil tetap dikocok pelan hingga tercampur rata dan halus.
 Masukkan terigu dan chocolate chip. aduk rata. Tuang ke loyang yang sdh disiapkan.
Panggang kurleb 25-30 mnt. tes tusuk.
Note: Kenali kondisi oven masing-masing. Tiap oven menghasilkan panas dan waktu meanggang yang berbeda.

Naahh..moms, bunda.... mudah kan bikinnya. Brownies ini jenis fudge jadi tdk mengembang tinggi seperti kek ya. Lembab tapi cenderung tidak chewy (lengket di gigi) jadi pas buat saya yang habis sakit gigi 😏
