Yogurt "Cheese" Souffle Cake



This is great and easy dessert to make. And I  I admit I was quite successful. The souffle rise so high, so beautiful once out from oven. The only thing I fail here is just taking it picture in perfect time, so it looks slightly shrunken and collapsed after 15 minutes. What can I say? I'm not photographer.... But they are perfect indeed, the silky texture and delish taste... you must try this ! ^,^ Never mind the appearance, souffle is like that after few minute out of oven, that's why they served while it's hot..

To make this yogurt "cheese" souffle, you need to drain yogurt to separate the water in cheesecloth-lined strainer for at least 24 hours before.


Make about 6 (250 ml cap) ramekins


Ingredients:
 1 cup strained thick plain yogurt.

Çılbır or Poached egg with garlic yogurt sauce

Çılbır is a Turkish dish of poached eggs with garlic yogurt sauce. It is also common to have the dish topped with red chili flake (red paprika can be substituted), melted butter. A simple and healthy meal to make.


 To make this simple and healthy dish you will need:
- Several egg (as much as you need)
One by one break egg carefully in boiling water over medium heat about 7 until 10 minutes. Strain and drain carefully.
Meanwhile prepare the yogurt sauce. You will need some cloves of garlic, crush them with pestle and mortar (but I grated them). Mix garlic with plain yogurt, add pinch of salt and VERY small amount of water. Stir well to combine. Now you have 'Sarımsağı yoghurt' or garlic yogurt sauce.

Menemen. #turkishfood

"Menemen" is one of many other daily Turkish meal. The main ingredient is egg, cooked with onions and tomato paste. In some regions they add some cheese too. Then served hot with bread.


Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 medium onion. finely chopped.
- 2 cloves garlic (optional). finely chopped.
- 1 medium tomato. finely chopped.
- 4 green peppers. cut into small cubes.
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste. dilute with 3 / 4 cup warm water
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter for sauteing.

Turkish dessert. Fırın #SÜTLAÇ / Turkish bake rice pudding

Selam everybody....Merhaba from Turkey.

Fırın Sütlaç or bake rice pudding, one famous traditional dessert from Turkey. Can be served warm but much better after put inside refrigerator...
Some recipes can be vary from one cookbook to another. Some people may add cornstarch to their recipe. 
Other type of this Sütlaç is non bake, but both are just great. Try it and I believe your family will like it as well.




Ingredients (for 6 remekins @250 ml):


- 1/2 cups rice (short grain),rinsed.
- 3 cups water
- 750 ml milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons rice flour, dissolve it with 2 cups water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt (optional)

Method:
1) Cook rice with 3 cups of water until rice is tender (if the type of rice you used is hard type, water may need to be added).
2) Mix in milk and sugar. Stir until cooked (there are small bubbles), add vanilla and salt , stir again.
3) Mix in rice flour solution, stir until boiling again.  use a medium-low heat 
for whole process of cooking.
4) Once cooked, put it in a heat proof bowl. Prepare the baking tray and fill with hot water. Place sütlaç filled bowls on baking tray with water and bake it at 180 deg C until golden brown surface.


Keep in refrig before served. Afiyet Olsun.

Bahasa Indonesia
Bahan-bahan (untuk 6 mangkuk kecil):
- 1/2 gelas beras (pilih jenis yang lunak dan bulir kecil), cuci bersih.
- 3 gelas air
- 750 ml susu cair
- 1 gelas gula
- 3 sdm tepung beras, larutkan dengan 2 gelas air
- 1 sdt vanilli
- sejumput garam (optional)


Cara membuat:
1) Masak beras bersama 3 gelas air hingga beras lunak (jika jenis beras yang digunakan adalah jenis beras yang keras mungkin perlu ditambah air).
2) Masukkan susu dan gula. Aduk hingga matang (ada gelembung kecil), masukkan vanilli dan garam (jika tidak suka garam, tidak perlu ditambahkan), aduk kembali.
3) Masukkan larutan tepung beras, aduk-aduk kembali hingga mendidih. Seluruh proses memasak, gunakan api kecil-sedang.
4) Setelah matang, taruh dalam mangkuk tahan panas. Siapkan loyang panggang dan isi dengan air panas. Taruh mangkuk-mangkuk berisi sütlaç diatas loyang berisi air tersebut dan panggang dengan suhu 180 deg C hingga permukaan kecoklatan.


Dinginkan dalam lemari es sebelum dihidangkan.

Indonesian favorite food for accompany us to have evening tea with families

Ingredients :
- 5 eggs 
- 4~5 phyllo dough (ready to use or you can make it earlier)
- enough cooking oil for frying martabak
for stuffing:
- 3 stalks of leeks, cut into 2-3 cm
- ground beef  200 gr 
-3 garlic cloves medium size- chopped finely
- 1 medium onion- chopped finely
- Curry spice powder 2 teaspoons 
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder (optional-if you like it spicy hot) 
- salt to taste.
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil for sauteing
