Dumpling wrapper, wonton wrapper, or shumai (siomay) wrapper was something I could easily get anywhere when I was in Indonesia. So making any kind of dumpling was never difficult at that time.

But since I live here, those things are so fancy to get. Sometimes I must go to the biggest supermarket to find it and mostly can't find it. Once I got that dumpling wrapper ( in the frozen food section), it wasn't like I wanted it.

That is why I started to make my own dumpling wrapper at home. Actually, I already posted one recipe before

Is a small Indonesian biscuit (kue kering) shaped somewhat like a cat's tongue (long and flat). They are sweet and crunchy. This cookie is a Dutch-influenced cookie due to the historical tie between Indonesia and the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, this cookie is known as katte tong, and is ultimately derived from the European cat tongue biscuit.

In French, it's called langues-de-chat and this biscuit actually comes from the Netherlands.

In Indonesia, kue lidah kucing is widely known. This pastry is a special dish on some Indonesian occasions such as Eid ul-Fitr, Christmas, and Chinese New Year along with many other traditional cookies like; kaastengels, putri salju, pastel mini, Butter cookies or simple chocolate cookies, and more.

But I love the one which is light, fluffy yet moist. Yep... this is the kind of banana cake I have always craving of.

My post today is so easy, so moist and so fail-proof banana cake. And the bonus (?) it's steamed!

Yes, I love steamed cake. When you steam the cake you will get more flavor from the ingredients you use. So imagine when you steam a banana cake, you will get purer, more fragrant, and more flavor of the banana compares to when you bake it.

You may remember my earlier post about homemade sweet chili sauce.  I love that sauce. I can use it as a dipping sauce, brush it for my grilled corn or even marinate and cook.

Just like what I am going to share today. It's our favorite chicken in sweet chili sauce. I serve it with pasta and simple salad as a side dish.

It's actually my copycat version from one of the franchise restaurants here in Turkey. We love to go to that restaurant every weekend. The restaurant special serve fettuccine with any kinds of protein starting from salmon, beef, chicken, or turkey, serve with mix salad.

One of their menu which I love to order is "sweet chili soslu tavuk" or chicken in sweet chili sauce (picture below).
