Kunci bahagia adalah banyak bersyukur. Sedangkan salah satu kunci kaya adalah bersedekah 😊

Bersedekah bukan hanya menyisihkan harta kita saja lho, Rasulallah SAW bersabda:

“SETIAP ANGGOTA BADAN MANUSIA DIWAJIBKAN BERSEDEKAH SETIAP HARINYA SELAMA MATAHARI MASIH TERBIT; KAMU MENDAMAIKAN ANTARA DUA ORANG YANG BERSELISIH ADALAH SEDEKAH; KAMU MENOLONG SESEORANG NAIK KE ATAS KENDARAANNYA ATAU MENGANGKAT BARANG BAWAANNYA KE ATAS KENDARAANNYA ADALAH SEDEKAH; SETIAP LANGKAH KAKIMU MENUJU TEMPAT SHOLAT JUGA DIHITUNG SEDEKAH; DAN MENYINGKIRKAN DURI DARI JALAN ADALAH SEDEKAH.” (HR BUKHARI DAN MUSLIM).

Begitulah cakupan luas tentang bersedekah. Jika ada yang salah mohon koreksinya ya .

Bay the way.... bulan juli-agustus di Turki puncaknya musim panas ya. Kalau musim panas begini saya suka banyak sayur dan buah-buahan yang saya suka. Salah satunya Jagung 🌽

Sebenernya Jagung ini termasuk jenis sayuran atau buah sih? 😊

Unik ya jagung ini. Selain bisa dimasak sebagai lauk dan sayuran pendamping, dia juga bisa banget dibikin kudapan manis ya... Mulai puding jagung, cake jagung atau lepet jagung yang resepnya akan saya bagikan hari ini.

I admitted I am a bit late posting this viral drink. This whipped coffee drink wildly became phenomenal across Instagram a few months ago. People called this "Dalgona" coffee (latte).

The recipe originated in South Korea and requires only four ingredients; instant coffee, sugar, hot water, and milk.

Honestly, before this coffee became viral I never knew that if we whip the instant coffee powder and hot water (in the same portion) it will be creamy and has whipped cream consistency 😃

So, what is dalgona? 

Dalgona in Korea is a honeycomb sugar toffee. İt's a candy made with melted sugar and baking soda. It was a popular street snack in the 1970s and 1980s and is still eaten as a retro food. It has a different name for each region. When a pinch of baking soda is mixed into melted sugar, the thermal decomposition of the baking soda releases carbon dioxide, which makes the liquidized sugar puff up, and it becomes light and crunchy candy once cooled and hardened. Typically, the creamy beige liquid is poured on a flat surface, pressed flat, and stamped with a patterned mold.

One South Korean cafe combines this dalgona with milk tea or coffee.  This one that actually calls dalgona coffee.

But since Covid-19 pandemic spread worldwide, some people trying to make their own "dalgona coffee" at home and hashtag #dalgonacoffeechallenge become very popular across the internet. People tried to imitate the cafe version of dalgona coffee by using instant coffee powder. And what is popular then is "dalgona coffee" which doesn't actually contain dalgona or honeycomb sugar toffee.

Bored summer?

Even in Turkey apply "new normal" since last June, but personally, me and my family still feel unsafe. I have a perception in this pandemic time: "Nobody saves until everybody saves"

So we decided still to stay at home, enjoy our summer at home. Home gardening in our balcony and do small but fun things together.
