Fresh from the fridge is the main title this summer. It's not just a cold beverage like this  Indonesian pineapple drink-"Setup Nanas", or homemade red basil sherbet. Or even trending Korean whipped coffee "dalgona".
Sometimes you want something that's a little icier and fruitier: You may want a popsicle! Keep it healthy with this "fresh-from-the-freezer" Peach frozen yogurt popsicles.

Using a combination of only three healthy ingredients you will not worry anymore your kids (or even us 😊) take more than one.

Peach.
Besides peach, you can use its families such as nectarine or plum. I do not pell the skin off, the fruit's skin contributes not only flavor and color but pectin as well. For a silky texture, I previously froze the fruits a night before. 


Honey.
For the sweetener I use honey. But of course, you can use your own choice of sweetener. You also can use sweet condensed milk if you like.


Yogurt
Another ingredient that is not less beneficial is yogurt. Among the benefits are:
- Helps the digestive system.
- Good for bone health
- Source of minerals and vitamins
- energy sources
- lowers blood pressure
- Helps to lose weight
- Helps improve the body's immune system

Peach Frozen Yogurt Popsicles

Make 8-10 popsicles

Ingredients:

🍑 2 cups (about 300 gr or 2 big sizes) diced ripe peaches. Keep in the freezer overnight.
🍑 ¼ cup honey or as your taste
🍑 1 cup of thick yogurt ( I use kaymaklı yogurt / Turkish creamy yogurt)
🍑 1 tsp vanilla extract 

How to make:

1) Place frozen peaches into the food processor and process until very smooth.

2) Add yogurt, honey, and vanilla. Process again until creamy smooth and well combined, you can check the sweetness. Add as your prefer.

3) Divided into prepared popsicle mold and freeze at least 5 hours or overnight. 
To unmold, dip the mold into warm water for 10 to 20 seconds.

Make-Ahead Tip: Freeze for up to 1 month.

Kalau musim panas begini banyak sekali buah-buahan segar khas musim panas kesukaan. Salah satunya adalah buah persik.

Buah persik mempunyai nama lain; persica. Karena ditanam secara masal pertama kali di Persia (kini Iran) sebelum ditransplant / ditanam di Eropa. 
Termasuk dalam genus (marga) "prunus" bersama dengan ceri, aprikot, almond dan buah prem, dalam keluarga mawar.

Buah persik berasa manis sedikit asam. Tingkat keasaman atau kemanisannya juga bermacam-macam tergantung tingkat kematangan dan jenisnya. berserat tinggi jadi bagus banget untuk pencernaan. Warna kulitnya merah kekuningan sedikit oranye dengan warna buah berwarna kuning cerah. Ukurannya rata-rata sebesar bola tenis- ada yang lebih kecil atau lebih besar dari itu. Tapi rata-rata ya sebesar bola tenis itu.
Bijinya berwarna coklat muda hingga gelap, mirip kacang almond. Konon bijinya juga bisa diolah sebagai alternatif marzipan.

Selain dimakan segar, buah persik juga enak banget lho dibikin pie atau suka banget dibikin Peach up side-down cake. Atau bagi penggemar kudapan mirip pudding bisa dibikin Peach Cheese Panna cotta yang segar ini. Atau bisa dibikin manisan segar khas Turki Şeftali kompostosu atau manisa buah persik.
Buat penggemar es teh, bisa juga coba es teh buah persik (Peach iced tea) dan dibikin syrup buah persik juga (Peach syrup for iced tea).
Banyak deh ide-ide resep yang terbuat dari buah persik ini, tinggal klik saja kategory berdasar bahan baku "Peach/ buah persik" disini.

Buah Persik

Kali ini buah persiknya saya bikin popsicle (semacam es lolipop) dari bahan yang gak panjang listnya. Cuman tiga bahan utama plus vanili sebagai penambah aroma, bisa pakai bisa juga diskip kok.
Untuk pemanisnya saya gunakan madu saja. Jadi buat anak-anak (juga kita 😂) gak ragu lagi dengan kandungan gizinya ya...
Selain buat camilan segar dan dingin pas cuaca cetar begini, kita juga dapat manfaatnya ya 😊

Bahan utama lain yang tak kalah banyak manfaatnya yaitu yogurt. Dengan rasa krimi dan asam mungkin agak asing di lidah Asia yang tidak terbiasa dengan sumber protein yang tinggi ini ya.
Diantara manfaatnya adalah:
- Membantu melancarkan sistem pencernaan.
- Baik untuk kesehatan tulang
- Sumber mineral dan vitamin
- sumber energi
- Menurunkan tekanan darah
- Membantu menurunkan berat badan
- Membantu meningkatkan sistem imun tubuh
Wah.. ternyata banyak sekali lho manfaat yogurt bagi tubuh kita.

Jadi tunggu apalagi? yuukk bikin juga yang segar-segar buat camilan dingin anak-anak.
Oh iya.. kalau tidak ada buah persik bisa juga diganti dengan bah nektarin atau biah prem segar. Kalau gak ada juga.. bisa lho dibikin ari buah mangga manis juga 🥭

Peach Frozen Yogurt Popsicles

Bahan-bahan:

🍑 2 gelas buah persik matang yang sudah dipotong-potong (kurleb 300 gr atau 2 buah ukuran besar). Simpan dalam freeze semalaman
🍑 ¼ gelas madu, tambah atau kurangi sesuai selera
🍑 1 gelas yogurt kental ( saya pakai kaymaklı yogurt / yogurt berkrem khas Turki). Dingin
🍑 1 sdt vanilla extract 

Cara membuat:

1) Haluskan buah persik yang sudah difrozen dengan food processor. Proses sampai halus benar.

2) Masukkan yogurt dingin, madu dan vanila. Proses lagi sampai creamy dan tercampur sempurna. Cicipi rasanya. Bisa tambah madu jika dirasa kurang manis. 

3) Lalu cetak dalam cetakan lolipop / es potong. Kalau tidak ada, bisa pakai gelas kertas ukuran paling kecil. Lalu tusukkan gagang lolipop ditangahnya. Bekukan dalam freezer semalaman. 
Rendam cetakan es dalam air hangat 10-20 detik agar mudah dilepas dari cetakan.

Es buah persik bisa disimpan dalam freezer sampai 1 bulan.

    1. Hai Jackie.. yes, yogurt version is healthier, that is why I use thick and creamy yogurt instead of using cream for my popsicles ^_^ Thank you for stopping by.
