Posting kue kering lagi ya...... Gak papa donk...sebab orang rumah (aslinya saya sih..hihihihhi) doyannya ngemil kukis dan kebiasaaan di rumah sih toples kukis nggak pernah kosong. Beneran.... at least ada satu jenis kukis di lemari.
Ya maklum....kebiasaan orang Turki kan minum teh. Pagi siang malam, minum teh. Cuaca dingin atau panas cetarrr yaa minunya teh panas.. ☕
Jadi kalau gak ada camilan bagi saya kok kurang afdol minum teh nya... 😊
Kali ini pengen sekali makan kue kering kacang. Kuker kacang ini termasuk kuker jadul dan laammmmmaaaa banget sudah gak makan ini. Dan kayaknya kukis ini makin langkah ya.... dan kalah populer dari kukis klasik lainnya maupun kukis kukis modern yang saat ini makin banyak jenisnya.

Setelah sukses percobaan mie dari bayam beberapa hari lalu, kemarin saya dan si kecil bikin mie telor lagi. İyaa... anak saya ini suka banget makan mie, tapi sukanya yang simple dan gak banyak bumbu. Biasanya saya bikin mie goreng kecap plus ayam cincang dan sedikit sayuran.
Kali ini bereksperimen bikin mie pakai putih telor saja, kebetulan sambil habisin stok putih telor yang lumayan banyak.
Mie terbuat dari adonan tidak beragi dari tepung gandum kuat dicampur dengan air atau telur dan dibentuk menjadi lembaran atau berbagai bentuk, kemudian dimasak dengan cara direbus atau dipanggang~

Fruitcake adalah kue yang dibuat dengan manisan atau buah kering, kacang-kacangan, dan rempah-rempah. Di Inggris-- negara asal kek ini berasal, versi lain biasanya dibekukan dan didekorasi. Fruitcake biasanya disajikan dalam perayaan pernikahan dan atau Natal.
Kue ini terasa lebih enak bila disimpan selama beberapa hari sebelum dimakan. Tapi sayangnya di rumah saya ini tidak bisa bertahan begitu saya keluarkan dari kulkas 😃
Suami saya suka banget dengan cake model yang begini. Padat dan lembab, kaya dengan isian buah-buahan di dalamnya dan rempah-rempah.
Dia cuman request next time mungkin bisa ditambah walnut atau pistachio akan lebih enak 😊
Memang kali ini saya skip pakai kacang-kacangan itu, selain stok sedang gak ada, saya juga ingin yang versi tanpa kacang-kacangan sih...hehehhe..
Jadi untuk resep ini moms bisa menambahkan kacang-kacangan juga ya.

Salad disini bisa dibuat dari bermacam-macam sayuran juga, disajikan segar dengan "dressing" atau saus salad yang sederhana, terdiri dari minyak zaitun, perasan lemon dan garam. Variasinya kadang ditambah dengan "sumac" atau kadang cuka anggur.
Suka banget makan cuman gadoin salad khas sini... Tapi yaitu tadi.. kadang kangen makanan kampung udah numpuk sampai ubun-ubun. Nah.. kebetulan yang dikangenin ini gado-gado khas Surabaya.. jadi lumayan butuh perjuangan lah bikinnya.

Panna cotta lagi.... semoga gak bosen. Sebab di rumah saya jenis dessert semacam ini sangat disukai suami. Pun gampang dan cepat sekali membuatnya.
Apa sih panna cotta itu? Panna cotta adalah kudapan pencuci mulut (dessert) yang terbuat dari cream, gula dan gelatin. Rasanya creamy dengan manis yang sesuai, mempunyai tekstur lembut dan silky. Berasal dari Piedmont, Italy.
Walau bahan dasar utama terdiri dari cream, gula dan gelatin panna cotta saat ini mempunyai banyak sekali versi dan variasi. Kita bisa variasikan dengan chocolate, buah, yogurt, kopi bahkan buttermilk dan lain-lain. Bagi yang ingin variasi lain panna cotta bisa dilihat di kategori Pudding dan variasinya disini.
Resep Donat kentang NCC
- 500 gr terigu
- 50 gr susu bubuk
- 200 gr kentang, kukus haluskan
- 11 gr ragi
- 100 gula
- 75 gr mentega
- 4 kuning telur
- 1/2 sdt garam
- 100 ml air dingin
- campur trigu, susu, ragi, gula, aduk rata
- masukkan kentang kukus, kuning telur, dan air dingin..uleni hingga kalis
- beri mentega dan garam..uleni lagi hingga elastis. Istirahatkan 15 mnt
- bagi adonan sekitar 50 gr (saya bentuk bulat kecil-kecil) .bulatkan. diamkan 20 mnt hingga mengembang
- goreng hingga kecoklatan

Kabar baik semua ya Inshaallah. Sudah seminggu ini hawanya menggigit sekali, tapi sejak awal musim dingin salju belum juga turun. Tahun ini di Turki tidak seperti tahun-tahun lalu, salju tidak turun terutama di wilayah Turki Barat. Saya masuk di wilayah Marmara.
Kalau salju tidak turun seperti semestinya, hawa cenderung dingin "kasar" menggigit sampai tulang, udara juga terasa tak nyaman. Ditambah bau kayu bakar atau batu bara dari rumah-rumah yang "bandel" tetap menggunakan dua bahan itu untuk penghangat- menambah polutan di udara makşn parah dan bikin nafas sesak.
Tapi tetap saja di tempat yang lebih tinggi seperti gunung Uludağ, musim dingin terasa kental dengan banyaknya salju dan turis yang datang 😊
Wilayah Turki sebelah timur, timur laut atau yang berbatas dengan bekas wilayah uni soviet, salju tebal dan beku disana.
Mudah-mudahan salju turun dalam waktu dekat ini, supaya udara lebih bersih dan hawa agak melembut. Amin.
Jadi critanya postingan kali ini menghibur diri dengan makanan tropis karena sangat merindukan suasana tropis yang hangat plus " sumuk" nya 😁

Kemarin bersih-bersih dan bongkar lemari yang isinya loyang-loyang dan peralatan baking... Ehh.. ketemu cetakan kembang goyang yang udah lama terlupakan. Terakhir bikin kembang goyang sekitar 2 tahun lalu.... wiiihhh..lama juga ya 😃
Kembang goyang sendiri mendapatkan namanya karena bentuknya yang seperti bunga dan digoreng dengan cara digoyangkan dari cetakannya di dalam minyak panas hingga terlepas dan digoreng matang merata.
Resep tradisionalnya terbuat dari tepung beras. Tapi ada juga versi yang dicampur tapioka dan atau tepung terigu untuk variasi tekstur nya.

Gado gado is one of popular Indonesian dishes. Its on the list of Indonesian national dish among with others.
It's a dish consist of a mix of pre-boiled vegetable and fried tofu (or sometimes with tempeh) and dressing with creamy umami peanut sauce then served with kerupuk (shrimp cracker or other type of cracker). Lontong or rice cake also serves as a complement. Adding simple chili sambal is most people's choice to enjoy this delicious and healthy gado gado.

And today I will show and share my recipe on how to make authentic famous Indonesian satay with satay peanut sauce, all from scratch. No worry... it's easy than you think 😊
First thing first. We must make satay peanut sauce in ahead. You can keep this sauce in an airtight clean jar, store in the refrigerator up to 5 days. in the freezer for up to 2 weeks, defrost before use. Warm up in a microwave or over low heat stove for 2 minutes or so.

Today's post might be a bit longer than usual. Cause I will tell you a little more about Indonesian cuisines- my beloved country 💓
Last Friday I was lucky enough to be a guest cook for Beyond Kitchen by young chef and gastronomy - Mohammad Alard. We cooked and served some Indonesian menus for our expat fellows in Istanbul.
Beside cooking, I also presented and tell to the guests about the dishes they enjoyed that night. And I am going to share to you as well 😊
Indonesian has the most unique cuisine in the world due to the combination of cultural diversity and its geography.
Most Indonesian food is prepared with contrasting flavors, such as a spicy-sweet or hot sauce served over a bed of plain white rice, a popular meal throughout the country.
We serve simple foods in general, but using plenty of herbs, various roots, spices, leaves and grasses adds zest to most of our meals. Some of you may think that Indonesian foods are spicy and hot because we use chili pepper on mostly every dish. But it's not really true. In fact, the most widely used spices are cumin (caraway), coriander, and ginger. All relatively mild spices and give such a mild aromatic dishes.
Some other countries have bread as a staple food. In Indonesia, rice is the most important staple food. We eat it for breakfast until dinner. İt normally accompanies every meal too. For daily consume we eat steamed white rice. Even you may find some other type of rice such as white Glutinous rice and black glutinous rice. But those glutinous rice usually being used for our snack (jajan) , cakes or on sweet treats. check Indonesian food category and Indonesian snack (kue) for more.
But rice is not the only staple for All Indonesian. In eastern Indonesia, like Maluku, we can find sago as their staple food. And some other regions people eat cassava and corn as main staple.

Indonesian cuisine often demonstrates complex flavor, acquired from certain ingredients and bumbu spices mixture. Indonesian dishes have rich flavors; most often described as gurih (savory which equate to umami) and pedas (hot and spicy), and also a combination of basic tastes such as manis (sweet), asin (salty), asam (sour) and pahit (bitter).
Seven main Indonesian cooking methods are goreng (frying), bakar (roasting) or panggang (grilling), tumis (sautéing), sangrai (roasted), rebus (boiling) and kukus (steaming).
Talking about how rich İndonesian food is... today İ'll share you one of İndonesian favorite; Sate Lilit Bali. It's one of famous food from Bali island, beside Balinese grilled fish ( ikan bakar) or urap sayur and ayam pelalah (spicy shredded chicken).

Or when you visit Bursa you should try Pideli Köfte, it's a small flat patty shape meatball served over pide flat bread flush with yummy tomato sauce then "fizz" with hot melted butter. You can check how to make it home here.
There is another köfte from İnegöl town named İnegöl Köfte. Each köfte (meatball) has own typical.

Pasta in Turkey, we call it "makarna" is like second staple beside bread. Together with bulgur wheat , couscous and rice, pasta also favorite food especially in big cities.
The most favorite pasta type is spaghetti.
Most pasta consumption in Turkey is in Marmara Region, Aegean second, took third place is Central Anatolia. This was followed by the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Southeast and Eastern Anatolia Regions. It was seen that pasta consumption was lower in the regions where local dishes and traditional tastes were in the foreground.
And the most popular sauce to cook with spaghetti is simple tomato sauce.

I cooked beef tongue so many times, at least twice or three times in a month. My family enjoy it as well, especially this oven roasted beef tongue. The spices so simple and once you have precooked tongue in your fridge, you are ready to go with any recipes using this delicious beef tongue.

I know... sometimes when we open the refrigerator and find a box of leftover strawberries that we are bored of eating fresh just like that, but those strawberries should be finished today or they will end up to garbage.
So, turning it into a jam is wise and clever.
